After midnight  there began a joyous carnival of dance, aerial performance and spectacular costumes with musical arrangements by Barrington Pheloung.

Hundreds of carnival performers, acrobats, jugglers and street entertainers took part.

Some of the spectacular aerial stunts form part of the daily Millennium Show to be seen at the Dome during 2000.

Those leaving the Dome at 3 or 4 am  in the morning will never forget this "One Amazing Night".
